Bombe is nestled in the verdant heart of Sidama, Ethiopia. This exceptional coffee, aptly named after the Qonqana River that flows between the coffee station, is a testament to the rich agricultural heritage of the region. Sourced with care from the dedicated smallholder farmers of the Bombe and Bensa areas, this offering showcases the distinctive terroir of this renowned coffee-growing locale.
The Qonqana washing Station holds a special place in our story. The first and largest station, affectionately known as "The Mother Station" by locals, it stands proudly along the banks of the Qonqana River.
Grown at elevations between 1910 and 2010 meters, the 74110 and 74112 coffee varieties thrive in the sunny and humid climate, nourished by an abundant annual rainfall of 1599 - 1799 mm. This meticulous environment, combined with the expertise of contributing farmers, yields a truly exceptional bean.
Processed with both washed and natural methods at the Qonqana Station, utilizing eco-friendly depulping and sorting machinery, fermentation tanks, washing tunnels, and sun-drying on 327 African beds, Taste the vibrant character born from the rich soils and generations of coffee-growing tradition.
